Captain Mark Bater decision to ask our visitors to bat was rewarded in the first over when Toby Seagrave clean bowled OMT's Andrew Mizner. Seagrave's opening partner Aussie Angus Cumming also picked up an early wicket as OMT's batting struggled against the moving ball and the pair both picked up a further wicket each. Leg spinner Greg Lem was introduced and he dismissed OMT's Kinal Patel by bowling him around his legs on what turned out to be the final ball of the day as our visitors slumped to 53-5 when the rain set in for the afternoon.
