After restricting the visitors to just 63 from their first 30 overs some lower order hitting threatened to take them past 200 before the return of Paul Orton and some wonderful fielding from skipper Richard Ambrose kept Chiswick to a score of 192/9. Tring made a rapid start thanks to a 42 ball fifty from Jeremy O'Neill but his dismissal triggered a collapse form 70/1 to 82/5. It was Shelvin Gumbs (pictured) who made 78* and Dan Tidey (38*) who saw Tring home despite a few anxious moments early on. Tring lie second 13 points behind leaders Ickenham and travel to Ruislip next Saturday.
