Batting first, we slumped to 68-6 before a revival as Rory Wood and Charlie Greer put on 66 for the seventh wicket with Greer bringing up the fifty partnership with a six over a straight midwicket. They were dismissed in consecutive overs but there was still time for a useful 24 from Paul Orton batting at number ten to see the total to 184.
Our bowling was not at its best and with a number of dropped catches Kew brought up victory after 32 overs, with captain Andrew Lewin batting through for 69 not out.
