The club's weekly guide to 'What's On' at the club in the next seven days

The next seven days will be the busiest period for the club in 2018 as we gear up for the new cricket season starting in just over a month's time. Below is your guide to the next seven days.

WHAT'S ON

Friday….
Bar open from 6pm with the senior teams signing on evening followed by the 2018 Annual General meeting beginning at 8pm.

Saturday….
Bar open from midday until 7pm with a private party in the evening. On the big screen we have Man Utd v Liverpool from 12.30pm which is followed by Six Nations rugby with games between Ireland and Scotland at 2.15pm and then France v England at 4.45pm.

Sunday….
Bar open from 1pm and we have Wales v Italy in the Six Nations on the big screen from

Wednesday…
Bar open from 6pm. We have filled jacket potatoes avaliable from the bar at £4 from 8.30pm. On the big screen we have Chelsea's trip to the Camp Nou to play Barcelona in the Champions League.

Thursday….
Bar open from 7pm. Blues Bar with The Del Bromham Band at 8.30pm. Admission £6.

Saturday 17th March….
Junior Open and Signing On Day 11.30am to 2.30pm. Poster attached.

Saturday 24th March….
Grease Sing-a-Long in aid of Ben Bezani’s World Challenge at 7.30pm.

Saturday 8th April….
Pavilion spring clean and senior signing - originally scheduled for March 10th.

CLUB NEWS

Lord’s Lunch with Henry Blofeld and Graham Gooch….
And for those of you who enjoy listening to the greats of cricket (Graham Gooch and Henry Blofeld) with lovely food in the best possible surroundings, please find attached details of a lunch being held at Lord’s Cricket Ground on Friday 1st June.

Scorers’ Introductory Course on 8th April….
This course provides the basic skills and knowledge needed to record a match and will include completing a scoring record, recognizing umpire’s signals and standard scoring symbols. It will run from 10.00am until about 1.00pm in the pavilion and will be delivered by Julia Farman (Bucks County Scoring Officer) and Simon Wastling (TPCC 1st & 2nd XI scorer). The course is free. If you wish to attend please email Simon Wastling.

Indoor nets….
These are at Ashlyns School, Berkhamsted from 6.15pm until 7.45pm each Thursday until 29th March. £8 a session.

Raffle Prizes wanted….
We are on the lookout for prizes for our 2018 raffles. If you have anything to donate or any unwanted bottles, chocolates etc. then please drop them off with Adam or Claudia at the bar.

Six Nations Rugby….
We will be showing the Six Nations Rugby on the big screen in the pavilion. Make TPCC your home for the Six Nations
