Following success in Heath Park Cup, the TPCC T20 team are inaugural champions of the Dacorum Super League

Friday night's victory against Hemel Hempstead gives the Piranhas an unassailable lead at the top of the Dacorum Super League.

Hemel won the toss and elected to bat and scored 115/7 off their 20 overs with youngsters Freddie Lowe and Oli Ilott putting together a strong first wicket partnership of 58; a foundation that the hosts were unable to find consistency build on as Camm and Doodson both bagged themselves a brace of wickets.

In reply Tring fired from the off with openers Ben Jacobs (48 off 41) and Jack Doodson (26 of 34) scoring 75 runs for the 1st wicket.
Zahid Hussain literally faced one ball as he gloved his first ball into his lip and had to retire hurt.
Tring scored the required runs off 17 overs.

Whilst other sides still games still to play only Berkhamsted can match Tring's points tally and in this circumstance Tring will top the league by virtue of their victory against Berkamsted in the head to head fixture.

Team Captain, Dave Crane, commented "Another great performance tonight. Really strong bowling display from start to finish, which put us in a great position at the half way stage. Jacobs and Doodson then leading the charge to make it a comfortable win. Tonight’s victory makes us deserved (inaugural) Dacorum Super League winners. Well done to all those who have been involved throughout the last few months, everyone playing their part in bringing it home. We used over 30 players from across the club in our Piranha matches this season, which show's the amazing strength and depth at the club".
