The East-West Maxwell Street Band take their name from old Maxwell Street in Chicago that runs from East to West and was host to a cosmopolitan bustling impromptu ghetto market and the birth of Chicago Blues and East-West will be recreating the music of such luminaries as Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Junior Wells, Elmore James, Freddie King and many more.

The East-West Maxwell Street Band consists of four seasoned Blues Warriors Playing Chicago Blues: Nick Hyde, Dave Raphael, Eddie Masters and Chris Sharley.

Also joining the band on the evening is Jon Walsh. Jon is the singer and lead guitarist in The Jon Walsh Blues Band, which enjoys a reputation as being one of the most talented real blues bands on the UK Blues circuit.

Jon is also an exceptional solo acoustic / slide guitarists and singer. Before being joined on stage by EWMS, Jon will be performing classic and original blues from his debut solo album “Old New Borrowed And Blue”.
