Blues Bar returns next Thursday with East West Maxwell Street. Doors open at 7pm with the band taking stage at 8.30pm. Admission £8 on door.

The East-West Maxwell Street Band take their name from old Maxwell Street in Chicago that runs from East to West and was host to a cosmopolitan bustling impromptu ghetto market and the birth of Chicago Blues and East-West will be recreating the music of such luminaries as Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Junior Wells, Elmore James, Freddie King and many more.

The East-West Maxwell Street Band consists of four seasoned Blues Warriors Playing Chicago Blues: Nick Hyde, Dave Raphael, Eddie Masters and Chris Sharley.
