In Mark Bater's absence, Dan Boniface won the toss and elated to field. After taking a few early wickets Tring were well on top. Chiswick's captain and opening batsman Sajid Suleman steadied the ship and got our hosts back on track with a half century. The key wicket of Suleman swung the game back in our favour after he was bowled by Leg Spinner Greg Lem. An excellent bowling display as a unit had the opposition all bowled out for 200. Aussie quick Angus Cumming took an impressive 6-31 to give Tring the half time advantage.
We got off to a steady start in our reply with both David Crane (pictured) and Josh Camm (pictured) reaching a 50 partnership. Both batsman looked in fine form and a 100 partnership was soon brought up inside 20 overs. The opening partnership was finally broken with Crane falling for 89, breaking a partnership of 160. Camm and Benn Kempster created a final small partnership to see the visitors over the line with just over 30 overs gone with Camm finishing 70 not out.
