Monks Walk had set Tring School the challenging target of 158 to win their Hertfordshire Schools Plate Quarter Final. The total proved no problem for Pike and Hendin as the pair opened the batting and chased the total down inside 15 overs. Hendin finished unbeaten on 50 while Pike scored his first hundred ending 103 not out from only 48 balls.

Tring School now face Kings Langley School in the Hertfordshire Cup Semi-Final on Friday, July 6th.

As well as representing our junior section and Tring School, the pair have both been regulars for our senior teams. Pike has been used as a bowler for the Second, Third and Fourth Teams while Hendin has represented the Third and Fourth Teams.
