We are rapidly making our way to the new 2019 TPCC junior cricket season and we have been working hard behind the scenes to try and ensure that this season things run smoothly and we are able to offer quality junior coaching and lots of matches for our junior squads.

At the end of last season I spoke at the end of year awards about the young leaders course that we have run at TPCC for the past 4 years. I am arranging a time for the main organiser to come and hold a meeting to discuss what is involved and gets covered in this course. It tends to run from March – July and we try to offer lots of dates to allow each child plenty of possible dates to attend the 4/5 courses. This is offered to school years 9 & 10 and covers, ground maintenance, scoring and umpiring, activators course (coaching & drills), 1st aid.

I am just trying to get a feel for the number of children that may or may not be interested in this, so if you could please let me know if you would like to attend this meeting I can advise once I have more details.
