After finishing a very respectable 5th in 2017 and picking up a couple of new players the darts team, captained by our very own 2 time summer slam of darts champion and owner of multiple darting names “Carlos Balderama Doctor Glove” Carl Stokes, had high hopes of a successful season.

After a strong start which saw the team reach the dizzying heights of 2nd at Christmas, we encountered our traditional January slump in form - blamed by some team members on the Captain and his wife Alan participating in Dry January.

However, with them now back on the Turps the team are back to winning ways, thumping the Bell and Black Horse 5-2 and 6-1 respectively to climb back to 3rd.
