Winter Sundays, Litter, Welcome Steve, Winter Nets and more..

Winter Sundays
Due to very little usage thus far, the bar will close on Sunday during the winter, from the start of November, other than for functions or major sports events on the big screen, which will be flagged in advance in the “Weekly What’s On at the Club” post.

Litter
It’s recently been brought to the Club's attention that we have a litter problem around the station road side of the main ground. It appears that this has been caused by inconsiderate behavior from a few school children. We’ve been in touch with the school who have provided immediate assistance to clear up the rubbish and to remind children of their responsibilities. Please could all club members also help spread this message so that we treat this wonderful space with the dignity it deserves.

Welcome Steve Clark
We’re delighted to report that Steve Clark, who played three years top grade cricket with Leicester and was recently Captain at Hampstead, has moved to the area and will be joining our 1st team squad next season.

Adult and Older Youth Winter Nets

Tring Festival of Fire
Our major fundraiser of the year is just over two weeks away. Don’t forget to snap up your early bird tickets before October 29, share all the Facebook posts and put your hand up to volunteer on the night, if you can. Oh….and pray for some decent weather!

Good luck to Gemma
Very best of luck to Gemma Marriott on her forthcoming tour of Sri Lanka with Herts Ladies. Several members of the club have offered to act as bag carriers…..

Breaking News
There’s a rumour that the Chairman came in ahead of the 2nd team opening bat at the Tring Park Run this morning. Mr Ambrose has been referred to the coaching team for extra winter conditioning….

Best wishes
Nick
